Lil’ Libros Books are the cutest way to learn Spanish with your kids + BOOK GIVEAWAY

I took Spanish for three years in High School, but never excelled to conversation level. I understand it more than I can speak, and know a few words here and there. Now that I have a child, I see it as a fresh start for me to try again and for us to both learn together. Lil’ Libros books are the cutest way to do just that. Colorful, adorably illustrated bilingual books with various relevant themes make it fun and memorable to learn.

Lil’ Libros is the brainchild of Latina entrepreneurs and best friends Patty Rodriguez and Ariana Stein. They co-founded a publishing company to create their vision of bilingual first concept books. Using cultural themes to teach counting, colors, anatomy, and more, Lil’ Libros is more than just vocabulary.

My daughter and I have three of the books (Frida, Loteria, and Lucha Libre), and thoroughly enjoy reading them together. Lucha Libre is my personal favorite, and I think it’s my daughter’s too. “Ombligo” was definitely not a word I remember learning in Spanish class, now it’s one I will never forget!
