The Science Behind Pixar Exhibition at The California Science Center

Today, my family and I went to The Science Behind Pixar Exhibition at The California Science Center. I love all Pixar movies, it’s really difficult to say which is my favorite. It was very fascinating to see the filmmaking process and the science behind these award-winning movies. There were interactive stations which explained each step and life-size creations of some of our favorite characters. I also enjoyed the first-hand accounts of Pixar employees – their love for what they do definitely shows in their work.

Although my daughter can’t read, she really enjoyed the interactive elements and of course pressing buttons! It’s a great exhibit for  parents and children alike. I highly recommend taking middle schoolers who are interested in art, and high schoolers who want to be inspired.

Because we visited mid-week, it wasn’t very crowded. It’s best to purchase timed tickets in advance, especially if you plan to visit on a weekend.
