Last month, I had the opportunity to attend a fantastic concert for babies and toddlers at Music Stars & Masters at Westside Pavilion, hosted by Club MomMe. The singer was Vered (VeredMusic.com), who is not only a musician, but a songwriter and music therapist with a background in clinical psychology. She is also a mom and winner of numerous awards.
The concert was fun for the both of us! Vered sang songs that got the kids energized and held their attention the entire time. It was so cute to see the kids rush the stage, sway to the beat, and eventually a few of them made it on stage (totally not planned) and picked up instruments to play. I had pleasant conversations with a few moms.
The timing of the concert was perfect, because I was looking for more ways to entertain my child, as well as a place to take music classes (My sister’s family gave my daughter a gift of money to go towards ‘classes’ to anywhere for her birthday). One of the items in my gift bag from the event was a coupon for 50% off a 5 class package at Music Stars & Masters! We’ve attended two classes so far, and Aria loves them!
